It's a far-fetched notion that Indian Film Industry has grown to be a liable cause to the increasing social crime and prejudice in India. Well! I beg to differ. Yes, I agree that there's two side of a single coin, you can either look at the tail or the head.Likewise, there are films made which are obscene and vulgar ,and there are films which are highly authentic and dignified. But, my question here is- What is portrayed in the films, isn't it the face of our actual society??.. If I give you an option to wear a mask, would you display the same human behaviour that you are known for, or would you unleash the demon inside you, and finally justify its hunger??..

The supply and demand rations is valid in all the fields. So the film that we see on the screen are the actual face of our own society. A society in which we cross our path with different human beings and their nature and insanity. So, why do we judge the film maker, when he unmasks the things which is already spreading like a plague among us. We all know about how vast the porn industry is, did it ever occurred to us that people who go public and rant about the cons of the porn industries are the ones who are the most active participants on those sites. We feel sense of pleasure by bringing someone down, whether it's for a social cause or a brutal injustice faced by an individual.

What do you think is the reason behind making such obscene stuffs and putting it across to the public?..

Do you think that if the demand had not been there, the supply would have been arranged??..

I wouldn't deny the fact that there are few films, which doesn't send the right message to our youth/or anybody for that matter. But our society is full of demons and not just angles, isn't it???..

So we need to choose our sides, which side of the coin we flip to, and if you decide to flip to the wrong side than do not belittle others who are doing the same. Your taste bud decides the type of food you would get home, so likewise the audience views would supply the demand of quality or quantity of the films that goes in the making.

We as an individual have the responsibility to improve our taste in cinema. If we go back to the era where Indian Film Industry was just a dream for us Indians,we will realize what struggle as a film industry had to go through to make a mark on International platform. Today, if we see, we have expanded on different levels and have reached every nook and corner of the world. We are being recognized and respected globally. However, we have still a long way to go , and our new emerging film-makers, script-writers, lyricist, song-writers, playback singers, etc are really doing a stupendous job. We as an audience have also evolved over the years. So, it's my personal appeal to every individual of India, that let's take our responsibility towards shaping a better Indian Film Industry. As an when the demand for obscenity would stop , the supply would automatically end. Also, lot of things can co-exist together without causing harm to anybody, at the end of the day it's up to us what we choose, or else we would always end up blaming others for our own insecurities.

Film Industry is just an example I would say. In my opinion, it's like blaming a girl for being rapped because she was wearing a skirt. So, do you think it's the girl who needs to be blamed or her skirt or our own sick mentality??... The day when we all have the same answer to this sensitive question, is the day a new era can be formed, which I believe is like a dream. But it wouldn't hurt trying to achieve it, would it??..

So, yes, Indian Film Industry is worth following. Which side of it you are following is up to you. Cause it'll server you with variety which already co-exist within the society. The only difference is that they play it on the screen, and we do it in real life.

An object of Entertainment is often misjudged or mislead as a means to deviate us from our actual path.

Does, any of us remember how our toys used to be blamed by our parents for distracting us from our studies???....

So, now that we are all grown ups, we are doing the same thing with our Film Industry. Blaming is always easy, isn't it??, but understanding and accepting that the actual fault resides in our very own mind, is really difficult.

As as a conclusion I would like to quote:

"The Wheel of Karma would rotate on a rhythmic pace.We Human would replenish our faith in Humanity Again!!!!"
