तू कहाँ था

मेरे लड़खड़ाते ही गलतियाँ गिनाने आए, तू कहाँ था,
लोग मेरे हालात का मखौल बनाने आए, तू कहाँ था,
आए ज़ख्मों को कुरेदने, जो मिले भी नहीं अब तक,
लोग नमक मिलाकर मरहम लगाने आए, तू कहाँ था,
कुछ हमदर्द बनकर आए और मुझे ही गुनहगार कहा,
मेरे दर्द में पछतावे का ज़हर मिलाने आए, तू कहाँ था,
हिस्सेदारी जताते थे जो मेरी कामयाबियों में हर दफ़ा,
आज वो ही मुझे नाकाबिल ठहराने आए, तू कहाँ था,
तू कहता था कि सबसे ज्यादा हक़ है तेरा “साकेत" पर,
अनजान भी जब, मेरा फायदा उठाने आए, तू कहाँ था?
