Letterbox
At the corner of the lane,
A red letterbox stood alone
Once keeping the secrets of the Universe
Now empty, yet looking for the visitors
To embrace all joy and worries within its grasp
Awaiting to bring the enveloped hopes
To carry some stories of success
And love in packets of words
Wishing to fly holding the stamps
The innocent letterbox,
surrounded by crowds
But, remained desolate
Reminiscing glories of the past!
