Lakhs of Indians have migrated to foreign nations in the last few years. A majority of Indians form a large part of counties with scarce populations. Although the country's economy is strengthened through the flow of remittance due to immigrants, there is a brain drain on account of its intelligent and talented professionals settling and working in foreign nations.

The United Arab Emirates has the most significant number of Indian migrants in the world, the statistics till 2022 show. 

Why are Indians leaving their motherland for greener pastures abroad? Why do net-worth Indians prefer to settle in foreign lands? How is large-scale migration going to affect the economy of India?
