Arjun in search of divine weapons

Yudhishthira, according to the advice of Maharishi, asked Arjuna to go to Devaloka to get the divya. Arjuna bid farewell to his brothers to go in search of Divyastras and then he went to Panchali. Panchali said, "Dhananjay may you succeed in your work. May God grant you all that Kunti wished for at the time of your birth and later you yourself. The happiness, life, honor and prosperity of all of us depends on you. Get new weapons and return soon. "

Later on Vyasa's advice, Arjuna went in the north direction to get the Divyastra. After crossing the dense forests of Arjuna, Devsevit reached Himalaya Mountains. Then crossing Gandhamadan reached Indrakila, where he found a Brahmin. The ascetic smilingly welcomed him and asked him, "You are a Kshatriya holding a bow, armor, armor, etc. Who are you? What is the work of weapons here? The sage sages living here have subdued the work anger, what do you want in this peace zone in Kshatriya disguise?

The ascetic requested Arjuna to throw the bow. When Arjuna did not give up his bow, the person repeatedly requested Arjuna to give up his bow. On Arjuna not giving up his bow, the man said, "I am Indra." Ask for a bridesmaid. "

Arjuna bowed down and bowed to his father and said, "I have come to get arms. Please give me the weapon. "Indra said," Dhananjaya weapons are useless. Demand some pleasures or depart to heaven for pleasure. ''

Arjuna replied, "King of the Gods, I do not need pleasures. I have left Panchali and my brothers in the forest. I want weapons. "

Indra replied, "If Lord Shiva is pleased with you, then you will get Divyastra. You worship Shiva. "Indra disappeared by saying this. After this, Arjuna went to the Himalayas and did austerities to get the blessings of Shiva.

Shiva entered the forest, chasing a hunt with his wife Uma Devi, in Kirat disguise. This pursuit soon turned into a fierce struggle. At the same time, a wild boar attacked Arjuna. Arjun shoots an arrow at him with his Gandiva. At the same time Shiva disguised himself as Kirat.

Arjun asked in a loud voice, "Who are you? Why are you wandering in this forest with your wife? How dare you shoot the beast that was my goal? "

The hunter replied with neglect, "This forest, all its creatures are ours." We live here You don't look like a forest dweller. Your hands and feet show that you have been living a life of comfort. I ask you what you are doing here? ... The boar is dead with my arrow and if you do not agree with it then it can be decided by fighting. "

Hearing this, Arjuna showered arrows at the person. But he was surprised to see that it had no effect on the person. When Arjuna's arrows were finished, he started hitting the hunter with a bow. But the hunter easily snatched the bow from Arjuna's hands, disarmed him and started laughing. Arjuna took out his sword from the sheath and attacked it. But as soon as the hunter's body was hit, the sword broke into pieces. Now Arjuna had no choice but to wrestle with his enemy. But as Arjun moved towards the hunter, he took him in his iron grip. This made Arjuna unconscious.

When Arjuna was alerted two hours later, he was disappointed and meditated on Shiva. While meditating, he came to know that he was fighting with them. Arjuna embarrassed and fell at the feet of the hunter and he apologized. Shiva smiled and returned Arjuna's Gandiva and his other weapons to him. Shiva also provided divine Pashupat weapon to Arjuna. Arjuna's wounds were cured by Shiva's grace.
