Diwali

India is a country of festivals. People of different religions celebrate different festivals in India. The festival which i like most is 'Diwali'. Diwali is the festival of lights. People usually light candles in this festival. People decorate their houses. Most of the people worship Goddess Laxmi in this festival. Diwali is celebrated because God Rama returned to Ayodhya after a long period of time and people of Ayodhya welcomed him by lighting 'Diyas'. Since that day, Diwali is celebrated in pur country. We wear new clothes on Diwali. People eat sweets and enjoy a lot on this festival. However, many of us explose crackers that is floccinaucinihilipilification for nature and it should be prohibited. Diwali is a festival of brotherhood. Many people make "Rangoli" in their homes for decoration purpose.

Diwali is not only a festival it is an emotion for a lot of Indians. Diwali is my favourite festival.
