Was it love at first sight or mere a crush?
He couldn't figure out but
something was there for sure
he waited curiously for a glimpse
of her charismatic look, refreshing smile
and mesmerizing eyes filled
with pure love and bliss.
When one fine morning
passing through the lane
his eyes fell on her,
his heart just melted
to see the ecstatic and sacred beauty,
who stood near the window
admiring the infinite beauty of nature,
seemed like she didn't want
to miss a single moment to appreciate
the spectacular view in front of her.
Since then, it turned into an imperative ritual
for him,
But suddenly his happiness vanished
and colours of joy faded,
she succumbed to a deadly disease, he came to know,
she wasn't there, nor she would return
but at least she should have known,
Now regretting for his secret admiration
gazing at the window
he still stands there in a hope!
