All year round I play hide and seek

With indifferent routine depression without a streak

Of hopeful light

I just choose to fight

On my own, but the atmosphere

Around me makes it clear

That I'm the only unhappy person

In this world. My version

Of life story doesn't go along with summer.

It just focuses on my inward negativity and let it simmer

Making it worse, but I know soon

Will come my much relatable monsoon.

When I walk along the street

The rain will come unannounced washing everything neat,

I'll stand just still, till I feel empty and clean

While the sky vent out every drop from a cloud so lean.

When sky's darkness fade away

My hope gets renewed and my heart determines to find a way.

By pouring out it's heart like beautiful art

The monsoon has become a part

Of me. It helps to find out what I feel

About everything bringing out dormant emotions. Towards me monsoon ever has a unique appeal.
