Eldest of all her siblings, with a heart of gold and a personality so bold, she lost her father at a very tender age. She took responsibility of her family like a 'man of the house ' . Never gave up on hardest of the situations,never complained of miseries, happily took care of her family till her younger siblings started to support her,stood like a rock in difficult times with an enduring smile,still does.Some super heroes don't have cape,my Mother doesn't wear one but she is definitely an inspiration and a super hero to me. I worship her because she is my God ,my angel who has disguised herself as my mother.
Sometimes I wonder where does she gets so much of compassion and perseverance?? So much of stamina to run around her family round the clock ,to be content and happy with whatever she had and has, I guess she certainly got it from her mom ,my "nani ". That is how the legacies are passed on right ?
When people compliment me and my sister for raising our kid's wonderfully we secretly thank her , when they say we are super cook's we smile and know how we got it, when they admire the way we take care of our house and family ,our heart fills with happiness and gratitude ,we secretly bow to her, when the writers bone tickle in us and people appreciate our fine taste in poetry and writing we wink and pat our own backs because we know we inherited it from her. she has made our lives worth living . Through out her life she maintained a perfect balance in her personal and professional life and managed to raise two wonderful replica of her, me and my sister. She taught us that ambitions can be selfless ,tears can be happy, and that hard work and perseverance pays off, she taught us to be generous, humble and kind. She taught us that family always comes first .
When we ( me n my sister) started the journey of motherhood she taught us to be patient and stood with us in all our ups and downs. The strength behind us and a strong pillar of our family .God's must have been in a fantastic mood while carving our destiny or I should say We are the choose one to be her daughters.
I am happy to share my mother's story on this platform . She is my God, my inspiration ,she is an unsung hero , aging gracefully ,bracing all the changes in her life like a true superhero. Love you maa.
