लगता है मन नहीं-कहीं, कहीं-न-कहीं लग जाएगा,
मेरे ख़्वाबों का शहर, अब तेरे बिना भी बस जाएगा,
करले जितनी भी करनी है मनमानी तुझे दिल से मेरे,
कभी-न-कभी मुझे ज़ख़्म दे-देकर, तू भी थक जाएगा,
हूँ हालातों का मारा जो तुझमें ही मिला हमसफ़र मुझे,
कुछ-न-कुछ तो ख़बर थी मुझे, तू ही मुझे ठग जाएगा,
जब सिर्फ़ तुझे ही था हक़ इस दिल के क़रीब आने का,
तो मेरे ज़ख़्म कुरेदने का और किसपर ही शक जाएगा,
करता रहा हूँ मैं नज़रंदाज़, तेरी गलतियाँ ऐ हमदम मेरे,
देखना है “साकेत" को, तू किस-किस हद तक जाएगा।
