Compassion
Dear soul, though adorned in silk arrayed But, beneath your skin, the same frailty is laid A century hence, this fame and the might Will fade into the silent night So, shed the pride and do gentle deeds Where compassion sows its everlasting seeds For the hearts you mend, and set them free Are the only echoes of eternity.
