I am an engineering student having a keen interest in writing. Apart from writing, I perform my poetry pieces in several open mics every week. Free verse is how I describe my poetic journey. This journey has been an amazing one so far. Some of my write-ups have been published in several anthologies. This makes me feel happy and motivates me to write more. The feeling of seeing me and my work on pages is something I can’t describe. Looking forward for a beautiful journey ahead.
एक लड़की थी...!!!
We come across numerous articles everyday talking about new rape cases happening in the country. And it is considered to be the fourth most common crime against women. According to the latest NCRB report, India see around 88 cases per day. And not all cases are reported. Most of the cases go unreported. This poem is about any girl, who has been a victim of an attempted or completed rape in her lifetime.
