The tide shall turn

Outside, the cold & grey is all around

And rain & sleet abound

Inside, my heart is stone cold numb

No words on my tongue as if dumb

Your leaving has left me in a daze

Thoughts & feelings all lost in a dark maze

Now my only hope is to meet you on the other side

Until then my time I must bide

For I am sure of the turning of the tide

Whose waves will get me to you beside...

And the greyness will then turn into a peaceful white
