Overpowering your old ones

A poem to express how we behave with our old and aged persons... Love them instead of being harsh and rude... Try to make them feel comfortable and safe

Sadness Aged and helpless Think before you react Old ones Mindfulness Love Think before you speak Life safeguarding

Don't forget the sacrifice of someone who has given you birth.

Don't forget the royal life presented to you.

The love of your life, whom you take as your spouse is also because of them.

The studies you have perceived,

The dignity you are greeted with,

The recognition and the acknowledgements you rack up,

All because they have taught you the hard lessons of your life.

Maybe its your hardwork too,

Maybe its your perseverance that paid you,

Maybe its your deligence that has recompensed you,

Maybe its your painstaking effort,

But still what you are today is because of them.

Because of their retained trust on you.

Overpowering the strength of your tongue on them is extremely low.

The irresistible thoughts you are hit with is an err.

Alter your mind...

Alter your thoughts...

Alter your voice...

Alter your tongue...

Vest your mind with good thoughts...

Good language is the first lesson taught to you.

Bring out the pleasing words instructed to you.

Bring out the sweet words you started with.

Bring out the allurement upskilled to you.

Do not use filthy words to your parents.

Do not pressurize them in their hard times.

They are old and edgy...

Do not hesitate to love them.

They need your support and guidance.

Its the time to aid them with everything they need...

Its the time to reinforce their lives...

Its the time to pay off their sacrifice...

Do not reveal the potency of your words...

Do not kindle their heart...

Do not crush their feelings and emotions...

They are at the verge of the end...

Love them...

Comfort them with your affection...

They are worth your tenderness,

Not your harshness...

Do not run-in on them.

Do not be acrimonious.

Do not overpower your words on them...

Do not overpower your voice on them...
