बोए हैं सिर्फ़ काँटे तो सींचकर भी क्या ही मिलेगा,

बे-मरहम ज़ख्मों पर खीझकर भी क्या ही मिलेगा,


टूट गए ख़्वाब सारे, जो सजाए जागती निगाहों ने,

आँखें हुईं वीराँ, पलकें मीचकर भी क्या ही मिलेगा,


मेरे ज़रिए मंज़िल पाने वाले भी हाथ छुड़ाकर गए हैं,

लकीरें ही दें दगा तो मुठ्ठी भींचकर भी क्या ही मिलेगा,


मदद की आस अब किसी से नहीं रस्ता भी सुनसान है,

सुननेवाला कोई है नहीं तो चीखकर भी क्या ही मिलेगा,


अब तकदीर ही करती है चुनाव, मेरे सफ़र का “साकेत",

मंज़िल ही जब मेरी नहीं तो जीतकर भी क्या ही मिलेगा।
