Carnival

I wish life was a carnival,

With music all around, like a festival,

Everyone dressed up in fancy attire,

With spirits lifted up higher,

The bright flashing lights,

Creating the ambience of disco nights,

Freedom in full vigour,

With ice creams in all flavour,

And delicacies to savour,

Merry making and cheer,

Joy and laughter filling the atmosphere,

Despite the craziness of every ride, 

We would end up taking each with pride,

For the courage to go through it,

And not deciding to quit, 

I wish life was a carnival,

Free from every trouble,

Free from every struggle,

I wish life was a carnival!
