Real illusion

That deafening silence tore my heart away,

With moist cheeks and parched lips,

Still I stood, my head moving its own way!

Nowhere to go, everywhere I gazed,

I was still, whilst the world ran

Blindly seeing my plight, I was amazed.

I wanted to move, but was glued....

I wanted to scream, but mumbled,

Heavy like a log felt my leaf like emotions,

Stuck in a place I swayed with soulless perceptions..

It was surreal, yet real,

When I slept , I was awake

Now when alive, its an illusion.
