A doctor once compared a child to a sapling.like sapling,if a child receives plenty of air and sunlight,he would grow big, strong and immune to diseases. But if he stayed indoors,he would grow like bonsai, with stunned development and delicate immunity system. Then those bonsais, indoors children, may suffer from many afflictions, the first being obesity.

Many child psychiatrists say, the children who do not play outdoor, stammer and stutter and are withdrawn. The average child does not get time to play these days.school gets over by 2 pm and after resting for a while the child has to rush to Tuition classes which finish only by 7 pm.

A child who does not get enough physical exercise lacks adequate stimulation and may suffer from reactive depression and anxiety disorders.

For development of sports and games the right place are school and colleges. The students at this stage are more flexible and it easily to develop them strong in mind and body.physical education is being neglected.

A good scheme of sports should provide adequate opportunity and facilities.Teaching staff should provide necessary guidance and encouragement to their students. At present this is something very virtual for all.
